Improving Lives, One Person and One Smile at a Time

My profession, first and foremost, is about caring for others and improving their lives. Being able to do that, in a fun and upbeat environment, is why orthodontics is the greatest profession!

As an orthodontist, I have the ability to improve a person’s self-esteem and the confidence with which he or she moves through the world. I love the personal interactions I have with my patients, getting to know who they are as a person and watching their personalities blossom as they see the changes in their appearance.

Every day, new patients arrive and they’re ashamed of the way their teeth look. They refuse to smile, are uncomfortable around others, and often have low self-esteem. My team and I explain that we can help them; it will take time, and hard work, but together we’ll move their teeth into proper position. Seeing the excitement on a person’s face, when they realize a beautiful smile is possible, is wonderful. When we finish, and my patient has a healthy, radiant smile, I celebrate with them: they have achieved a lifetime of amazing smiles!

Leizer Orthodontics

I have an exceptional team and am truly blessed to have them assisting me in delivering the highest quality of care. It goes without saying that they are kind and friendly with our patients. But they are so much more. They are highly skilled and competent, they are dedicated to ensuring each patient has the best orthodontic experience, and they embrace the same philosophy that I subscribe to: here, each patient is treated as family!

Education and Continuing Education

My Doctorate of Dental Medicine was awarded by Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. I completed an intense orthodontic residency through Albert Einstein Medical Center.

One of the most exciting things about orthodontics is how changes in technology, techniques, and materials are advancing the specialty. New approaches to care mean better treatment experiences, more comfortable care, and ever more incredible results.

Each year I take many hours of continuing orthodontic education. I’ve completed Invisalign® courses and also explored early and interceptive treatment to reduce or eliminate small issues before they become big problems. Personally, I’ve always been fascinated by technology and the role it plays in our lives. As an orthodontist, I seek to stay at the leading edge of technological innovations that improve my patients’ experience and finished smiles.

Beyond the Office

I grew up in East Brunswick and now live in Hunterdon County with my beautiful wife Samantha and our two wonderful children, Greyson and Gemma. Time with my family is a top priority outside of the office.

Samantha and I love food. Not just eating, but cooking, sourcing, and foraging. We love taking food-hunting trips to NYC to get all sorts of great goodies. We also live in farm country, so we have access to all kinds of farm-fresh produce, eggs, honey, and the like. We’re a little spoiled with where we live and our community!

In addition to cooking and a passion for food, I love reading and gaining knowledge. I love art and museums, too, and am an (amateur but fairly competent) artist. I work on large-scale multi-media pieces based on photographs from my adventures.
